👁 Takahashi General Clinic

Facilities. The clinic is a modest establishment consisting of a waiting room, 3 examination rooms, a surgery room, a nurse's station, and Dr. Takahashi's office where he handles most consultations. The office also has a clearly labeled EMPLOYEES ONLY door, which leads to his home upstairs. Exams & Check-Ups. Routine health check-ups can either be threaded or handwaved as a player pleases. Exams meant to assess and/or treat an active illness or injury are also available, from the common cold to open heart surgery. Veterinary care for pets or stray animals is also available. Procedures normally involving intense modern machinery such as x-rays, ct scans, mri scans, etc are not available at this time. Appointments & Walk-Ins. Making an appointment is as easy as contacting Dr. Takahashi himself. Walk-ins are welcome at any time. Nurses & Staff. There are currently no nurses or additional staff. They are hiring, however! Medicine. The clinic does not sell medicine, but will instead write a prescription to be filled by an outside pharmacy. Hana. Hana is a borzoi puppy and the clinic's resident therapy dog in training. She's available to sit in during most exams and consultations to provide a soothing presence if wanted, and can also be found on either her bed in the waiting room or her bed in Dr. Takahashi's office when not actively working. Counseling. Should your needs be more cerebral in nature, or you just need someone to talk to who isn't a dog or socially stunted unqualified in that area, you can be directed to Eyn Sof next door.
