While Akira is from a gag manga, he comes with recurring themes that could be upsetting to some. These include but are not limited to:
Body Horror (eyes especially)
Medical Horror (needles, blood, organs, etc)
Death in general
Sadomasochistic tendencies (he is so horny god help me)
